Science School Report 2009

General Comments: Steven has a natural affinity for the topics covered in science, due to his natural curiosity and love of obscure facts. He unfortunately struggles to translate this enthusiasm into diligent work in science on a day to day basis and is often distracted easily from his studies. Steven should maintain a regular and varied revision schedule to challenge his learning to higher grade, with exam practise.

Assessments: The first two modules of the science course we have studied are B1a: Human Biology and B1b: Evolution and Environment. In the exams earlier this academic year he achieved grade B and B, respectively.

Targets: Actively seek guidance each lesson or on a weekly basis on how to improve. Keep focused on how to improve answers to ensure higher grades. Revise science on a weekly basis using the revision guide and BBC Bitesize. Complete all homework assignments. Keep focused on learning, not socialising.

Effort in Class: 3

Homework: 3

Current GCSE Grade: C

Examination Result: B

Verdict

Very boring, but I work sometimes. We have three teachers for this subject. One has a Mac.
